Practice Moodboards

I have always thought that mood boards were just sticking paper down anywhere in order to look pretty and maybe show a colour scheme, but lectures and seminars throughout the fcp course have taught me otherwise. I had a go at some practice mood boards, just using blue tack and an A3 sheet to try out different compositions and what worked best with my bold primary colour trend.

MINIMUM

MAXIMUM

I really like the idea of using the maximum mood board composition as it truly reflects the bold, chaotic style which is often associated with bright primary colours. However, I think the minimum works equally as good as the bright colours have a larger impact against the white background, with the colours more vivid as they are separated and all easily visible. These two mood boards are definitely my favourite from this task and really enjoyed getting more hands on and creative with this fun activity!
