Thrift $tore

Lace Market is definitely one of my favourite places of Nottingham I have discovered since living here! It's not just the amazing independent shops that surround it, with one-off items of clothing you will have never seen before, but also the atmosphere. The people there are all so friendly and stylish, and with some very quirky aspects like the creative graffiti, the whole vibe just makes me feel like I'm in a back street of London!

One of the first shops I fell in love with here was 'Thrift $tore'. Taking it's name from the US version of charity shops, this vintage store also uses second hand revamped items and sells them on for very reasonable prices. Selling both one off clothing and jewellery items, there is always something alternative and unique to look at.

On the inside, there were two lovely women who were more than happy to help with anything you need. I really like the visual merchandising as it has a very retro 80's feel to it with arcade games and backstreet trash cans as shown in the images above. But it isn't just the overall look of the shop that makes me so excited about entering this store, it's all the amazing products they have for sale, like these shaped sunglasses and Dr. Martens.

Downstairs they also had an awesome denim room, with revamped jeans and shorts in so many different colours and sizes, perfect for any denim lover! Love the distressed look of the room, with ripped wallpaper, exposed bricks and cork tables.

This store is a new favourite of mine, and I get so excited when I'm in Lace Market to see if they have anything new in that will catch my eye! I would 100% visit Thrift $tore if your in the area at Heathcoat Street, NG1 3AA; but if not, deffo check definitely check out their facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ThriftStoreUK or take a look at their ASOS market place at https://marketplace.asos.com/boutique/thrift-store.
